Martin started DJing in 2000 as a young bboy and musician, inspired to play music his way on the dancefloor. After saving up enough money to buy his DJ setup, Martin began releasing drum and bass mixes under the name DJ K-Pryde. He was quickly recognized for his ear for music and exceptional mixing skills. As DJ K-Pryde, he released several memorable DJ mixes and played alongside world-class DJs like DJ Craze, Soul of Man and Z-Trip.
Mr. Clean has been dropping sets for ten years, spinning premier venues nationwide, colossal raves, and several residencies in Vancouver and Victoria. He held a Friday night residency at Victoria's Boutique Lounge, and currently holds residencies with Social Club on Saturdays, Felicitas on Wednesdays, and Flourish Afterhours at The Baja Surf Grill every second Saturday. Mr. Clean has opened for the likes of Paul Oakenfold, Adam K, Bass Kleph, and Steve Duda to name a few, always bringing fresh, blissful dance floor vibes.
Mr. Clean prides himself on his smooth, levitating sound and technical, tight mixing. He continues to push the boundaries of dance music with his passion for the percussive progressions and seductive bass lines of tech and deep house. Having traveled the world pursuing this sound at premier global festivals and events, it's all about love for the music, and love for the people who love the music!
As the co-founder of the Soul*Groove Collective, Veni*C brings a passion for the soulful and groovy sounds of house music. Her devotion for music is clearly evident when she graces the decks with her irresistible charm. After years of attending parties in Victoria and Vancouver, it was inevitable that she would buy her own DJ setup and express her love for the music through the wheels of steel. Armed with smooth mixing skills and an ear for amazing music, look out for Veni*C to move waves in the house music scene.
Rizla started DJing as a hobby four years ago after b-boying for ten. Born and raised in Vancouver, BC, Rizla’s inspiration for music was rooted in West Coast culture. Rocking parties as a promoter on the east coast introduced Rizla to local hip hop heads (promoters, DJs, Beatboxers, MCs) and solidified his appreciation for the love of the culture. Rizla recently returned from living in Los Angeles after four years. During this time, he mastered several DJ skills, and became deeply rooted in urban fashion, hip hop, and cannabis culture. Rizla currently resides in Boston, MA.
Curtis “Monumental” Basham is a Composer, Producer, Artist and Music Video Treatment Writer who currently resides in beautiful downtown Vancouver, Canada. His lengthy resume includes engineering, mixing and producing such projects as The Hundreds’ Clothing Company recording artist Alexander Spit’s “Until Next Summer” album, CDC collective member cARTer’s “Going Hollywood Mixtape: Presented by DJ Skee and The L.A. Leakers” and most recently J Star’s “The Plane Is My Home: What Did You Expect” Mixtape, hosted by DJ Whoo Kid of Shadyville fame. Curtis’ work has been featured on a number of major music websites including 2Dopeboyz.com, XXLmag.com, TheHundreds.com and Myspace.com to name a few. His music is characterized by raw emotion and deep, driving rhythm, taking the listener on an unforgettable odyssey through sound.
